Innovative Green Recycling Pioneer Provides Unique Income Opportunity for Businesses by Recycling Media Supplies

T3 Office Recycling Solutions enables local businesses to earn money by recycling ink and toner products and provides fundraising opportunities for our schools

RANCHO CORDOVA, CA – September 30, 2014 – T3 Office Recycling Solutions today announced that it has received R2:2013 (Responsible Recycling) Certification. The R2 (Responsible Recycling) standard was created by a multi-stakeholder group formed by the US EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) to set a high standard of voluntary principles and guidelines designed to promote responsible practices for electronics recyclers. The standard consists of requirements in the areas of environmental and public health, worker health and safety, security (data and facility) and the whole of the recycling process through final disposition.

R2 certification provides consumers and businesses verification and assurance that T3 Office Recycling Solutions is environmentally responsible and safe with our practices and procedures. The certification offers transparency into our processing and management of ink, toner and media cartridges, as well as other electronics.

T3 Office Recycling Solutions also received certifications for ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007. These certifications set companies apart as industry leaders, and as part of the movement to raise the standards for operations and material handling in recycling. Last year, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors presented T3 with the Sustainable Business of the Year award in the solid waste category.

“I’m very pleased we offer a green solution for companies to recycle ink and toner and provide an additional revenue stream by recycling and promoting the reuse and/or recycling of cartridges,” said Buzz Raley, CEO of T3 Office Recycling Solutions. “We are the only company that offers a program like this – we are not your average office supply company. Additionally, I am proud of our philanthropic efforts. We support our schools which are desperately in need due to diminished programs and budget cuts. Fundraising is not a one-time event; it is a lifestyle.”

To participate, business owners simply go online, fill out a form, call or email, and send in or drop off any of their used toner supplies. T3 Office Recycling Solutions will pick up these items for you at no cost. The company accepts all types of used and surplus (Sealed, opened or unopened, obsolete, expired or overstock) ink and toner – any make, model or brand. Business owners can also visit the company website to receive an estimate on the market value of their recyclables.

In addition to its philanthropic efforts, T3 Office Recycling Solutions found a way to give back to our local schools. With cutbacks statewide from teacher salaries, to supplies, to limited extracurricular programs; T3 offers the same recycling program and gives 100% of fundraising efforts to the schools. Currently, the company has launched fundraising programs in Folsom and the greater Sacramento area and plans to spread the word to additional Sacramento area schools.
