April Showers Brings Some News

T3 is happy to announce that we are proud to be an authorized distributor of AbilityOne products

The AbilityOne Program generates jobs for over 48,000 Americans who are blind or otherwise severely disabled through the manufacturing of products and the provision of services required by Federal customers.

The AbilityOne Program is also a required source of supply per FAR 8.7.  As a service to our valued customers to keep you in compliance with the law, T3 now offers a way to ensure all your office product purchases are AbilityOne compliant.

While not everyone is required to purchase through the AbilityOne program, everyone CAN purchase items through the program.

What a great way to support hard working people!

Happy New Year!

Greater opportunities, brighter promises and abundant success, health, and happiness.

We at T3 wish for you to have all of those things and more!

Make each new day exciting and prosperous.

Start your new year off by clearing out your storage areas.
Why wait until Spring?

We will purchase your over stock, freight distressed, expired, open boxed, out of box supplies, clearance, obsolete products or supplies that are just not needed due to printer upgrades or ordering too much stock.

Let us help you recover lost assets from all of these products!

Choose to receive a check for your items or receive a credit to purchase new supplies. We have everything from A-Z! We will always beat the big box stores. Even better, you could choose to donate the value to your favorite non-profit or school!
Pretty groovy, right?

For example:

Let’s say the products we received from you are worth $500.00. Instead of receiving the cash value, depending on what items are in your lot you could receive a credit value of between 25%-50% MORE to purchase new office supplies.

It’s a win!

For Our Troops:

The Flag

Michelle Selby
Red for the blood shed in the name of Freedom,
for which we fought,
united
Blue for the oceans of time we have crossed,
remaining the land of the free
White for the peace we wish to share,
all men created equal
Stars to remember those who fought throughout the night,
bravely for our land
Stripes to remind us of the lashings taken by the Prisoners of War
With a seal, in God we trust
We each are one of many, in which we stand united in Brotherhood
A symbol of Pride
A salute to those who died in the fight
A blanket to cover us in times of need
Waving high to show we are still here, undefeated
With honor you are presented to the world

Father’s Day & a really sharp 19 year old!

Father’s Day celebrates the contribution that fathers and father figures make for their children’s lives. I’ve never really researched how Father’s day came about so I searched and found this little tidbit.

A woman named Sonora Smart Dodd was an influential figure in the establishment of Father’s Day. Her father, American Civil War veteran William Jackson Smart, raised six children by himself after the death of their mother. This was uncommon at that time, as many widowers placed their children in the care of others or quickly married again.

Sonora was inspired by the work of Anna Jarvis, who had pushed for Mother’s Day celebrations. Sonora felt that her father deserved recognition for what he had done. The first time Father’s Day was held in June was in 1910. Father’s Day was officially recognized as a holiday in 1972 by President Nixon.

There is even a Father’s Day festival this weekend- check it out! http://fathersdayfestival.com/

AND…..

I ran across this story on Upworthy.com and thought it was incredible. Not just the idea but that the idea and passion for saving the planet is coming from someone so young. I found it very inspiring.

I have invented a method to clean up almost half of the great Pacific’s garbage patch in just 10 years, using the currents to my advantage.

Memorial Day, Event Info & a Pug!

2014 memorialDid you know…..

…that each year on Memorial Day a national moment of remembrance takes place at 3:00 p.m. local time? We are all busy and enjoy having the extra day off to enjoy a BBQ, extra time with family, shop the sales or maybe just catch up on yard work.  Wouldn’t it be nice if we took a few moments to remember and thank our military, past and present? They are after all the reason we have the day off! I think we should all set an alarm on our phones  (I know you all have them on you right now 😉 ) for 3:00 and honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. military.

Who’s with me?!

Do you have an American flag that you bring out for Memorial day and other important days? If you didn’t know, there are A LOT of rules that apply. I always knew the basics, like never let the flag touch the ground and always have it lit up at night if you leave it out but there is way more to our beautiful flag. For example, on Memorial Day it should be at half-staff until noon. For a pretty thorough list of the American Flag Guidelines click here

EARTH DAY 2014!

Earth Day (s) and a Beard-A-Thon?

Why yes, you read that right! Every year on April 22, over a billion people in 190 countries take action for Earth Day. From San Francisco to San Juan, Beijing to Brussels, Moscow to Marrakesh, from Seattle to Sacramento, people plant trees, clean up their communities, hug a tree and more all on behalf of the environment. T3 believes every day is Earth day but we love having one extra special day every year to have some fun and participate in Earth Day events. On April 17th we celebrated with Sacramento State University and had a great time! April 23rd we celebrate with American River College. BE SEEN BEING GREEN!
